Do not open or pierce the packaging before cooking.
Place the chicken in its bag with the 'ROAST THIS SIDE UP' instruction facing upwards, onto a baking sheet in the centre of a preheated oven 200°C/fan 180°C/gas mark 6 for 90 minutes. Remove the chicken from the oven and allow to stand for 5 - 10 minutes. The pack will open along the seal during cooking.
Peel back the top film and remove chicken taking care of the hot juices. Poultry is cooked if the juices run clear when the deepest part of the flesh is pierced with a thin skewer. If the juices are pink, continue cooking for a few minutes and retest.
For best results we recommend this product is cooked in the bag, however if you choose not to then remove all packaging, place in a roasting tin and cook for 105 minutes.
